After supper
At the close of the
day,
Before putting on my
pajamas
and brushing my teeth,
I found the door to the
North Pole.
Or
I found the door to the
North Pole
Before putting on my
pajamas and
Brushing my teeth,
After supper
At the close of the
day.
During the blizzard
While the wind howled
And the snow blew in
hard
From the north,
We watched beachcombers
on TV
And ate popcorn.
Or
We watched Beachcombers
on TV
And ate popcorn,
While the wind howled
And the snow blew in
hard
from the north,
During the blizzard,
Long ago and far away
As a a star lit up the
hills of Judea
Where shepherds guarded
their sheep,
Baby Jesus lay in a
manger,
In a stable
In Bethlehem.
Or
In Bethlehem,
Baby Jesus lay in a
manger
In a stable,
As a star lit up the
hills of Judea
Where shepherds guarded
their sheep.
Long a go and far away.
